VoiceOnyx is pleased to be a sponsor of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Inc. based in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County, Florida. Lynelle Chauncey Zelnar is the Founder and Executive Director of this non-profit organization which sends care packages to deployed military members. A former social worker, Lynelle also worked in property management until she retired to devote her time to Forgotten Soldiers Outreach. The organization was founded in 2003 when Lynelle became aware of the need from a co-worker whose son was deployed to Iraq. After Lynelle’s appearance on Good Morning America in March of 2004, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

“These boxes include so many different items that come in handy – from beef jerky to protein food, necessary toiletries for men and women, baby wipes and cleaning products, donated coffee from Starbucks, donated Girl Scout cookies through the generosity of the Tropical Florida Council, and the most ‘looked forward to’ item – the letters of encouragement,” says Lynelle. “Our mission is to send a little bit of home to make sure that these soldiers know that they are not forgotten.”
