Joseph will be working closely with our customers in the field to set-up, install, monitor, and troubleshoot the customized business phone services they receive from VoiceOnyx.
Local Education and Background
Joseph is local to Central Florida. He has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida (UCF), which he earned in 2008. He is currently finishing up his senior year at UCF to complete his Bachelor’s Degree requirements.
Over the last 9 years, Joseph has worked in the field as an I.T. contractor for several different companies and in many different capacities. He first started in this field by providing tech support at UCF, which blended nicely with his major in Computer Science. The longer he provided tech support, the more his interest grew and the more he learned. Two of the things he learned about himself are that he enjoys the diversity and constant change of the I.T. world.
This line of work also allows him to explore new I.T. systems and find better ways to use them or to identify ways in which existing systems can be tweaked to better meet user needs. Troubleshooting is another part of the job that appeals to Joseph. Figuring out what’s gone wrong and how it can be fixed provide day-to-day variety and challenge that Joseph finds stimulating.
