VoiceOnyx offers incoming Caller ID to provide quick information on who is calling your business and their phone number, if the caller has provided this information to their carrier. This allows you to prioritize the call, let it go to voicemail, or take further action if it is an unwanted call.
Caller ID Labels Provide Immediate Information
As an added service, VoiceOnyx provides Caller ID Labels, which tell you at a glance whether the caller has dialed a specific phone number or department. For example, calls to your new sales number could be labeled NS or Customer Service CS. The purpose is to keep your calls organized and your employees informed, even if they are answering multiple lines. This feature is key for receptionists, who answer calls for several lines; the label can identify a department or individual being called. More tips are available in the article Accurately Identifying Inbound Calls Using Caller ID.
Caller ID Labels allow you to screen calls.
Free Do Not Call/Blocking is Available
Occasionally, you may wish to block calls from persistent, unwanted callers to your business. VoiceOnyx has a free solution in the popular Do Not Call (DNC) Blocking feature. This set-up blocks and redirects callers to a pre-recorded Do Not Call message. Simply dial 611 from a VoiceOnyx phone or email support to request this service.
If you need to contact VoiceOnyx regarding unwanted callers or robocalls, you can check your home directory for Recent Calls to identify the number. Managers have access to Call Logs also known as Call Detail Records, which list and sort calls by date, time, and destination.
